Steve Judge Discusses “Private Equity: Top States and Districts” on Bloomberg
Today PEGCC President and CEO Steve Judge appeared on Bloomberg’s Money Moves with Dierdre Bolton to discuss the PEGCC’s recently released “Private Equity: Top States and Districts” report, and the important role private equity plays investing in companies across the country. The report ranks the top 20 states and congressional districts by investment value and the number of investments.
Judge emphasized that private equity investment has had an impact in every state and every congressional district, not just larger states like Texas, California, and New York. According to the report, private equity firms $347 Billion more than 2,000 U.S.-based companies nationwide. Companies that received private equity investment last year were in all sectors of the U.S. economy.
